General Surfactants was established by Dr. Robert Rolih as a low overhead, high quality manufacturer of surfactants and other oleo-chemical products. A specialized toll producer, General Surfactants does not employ a sales force, producing made-to-order specialty products for private label, sales to distribution and alignment with strategic partners from development through R&D, scale-up and production.

With decades of operations experience, operating out of centrally located Joliet, IL, with nearly 100,000 sq. ft. under roof, the General Surfactants reactor sets range from 100 to 5000 gallons, with a range of mix tanks and storage tanks, General Surfactants has the ability and expertise to develop and provide consistently produced material that is in-spec, delivered on-time, every time.
